Altona Mowerpower or Dependable Mowers as it used to be known up to 1998 has been operating from the "16 shops precinct" since the early 70's.
It is one of the most well established and well-known businesses in this area. Many of our current customers comment on how their parents shop here and they are sending their own children to this store for equipment and spares because they get friendly reliable service and advice.
The store has fluctuated in size over the years from a single to double store. Currently we are operating from a double store with a large workshop area at the rear. The larger store has given us more room to display our new equipment with a large comprehensive array of garden machinery and accessories.
A lot of businesses around us have come and gone but Altona Mowerpower, being very specialised and successful, is here to stay.
It has grown steadily over the past 20 years but with the doubling of the floor space lately taking on the 2nd store the business has started to really boom. There are currently 5 team members at this stage with a new team member starting in the near future.
